In partnership with a Tara and Area Outreach Food Drive, the Rotary Club of Tara is hosting "Light up Tara", a home and business decorating contest.
UPDATE: The top three vote getters for Rotary's Light Up Tara initiative were as follows:
First place - "Gnomes" - went to Rachael McCartney
Second place - "Christmas Tree" - went to Rob and Jackie Macey
Third place - "Santa's Sleigh" - went to the Tara Legion
A $50 donation to the Tara Food Bank will be made in each winner's name. Congratulations and thank you to everyone who entered and to all those who joined in the fun of making our village so colourful!

Due to COVID-19, the annual Christmas parade has been cancelled but Santa still wants to see your Christmas spirit!
Decorate the exterior of your home or business and send a picture, along with your address, to the Tara Rotary Club's Facebook page.
Cast votes for your favourites by "liking" the pictures that we will have in the album! Three winners will be selected December 6 and the prize is a donation in your name to the Tara Food Bank.
Take a tour of Tara and see the sights Saturday or Sunday, December 6 or 7 and drop off non perishable food items downtown for the Tara and Area Outreach Food Drive. Items can be dropped off Saturday between 6 and 7 p.m. or Sunday between 5 and 7 p.m.
